Distilled from the roots of a large, tropical grass, Vetiver is known as the ‘oil of tranquility’. It is very thick oil that mellows with age. It is an excellent fixative in perfume blends, and useful for acne and dry skin – similar to Patchouli in many ways. Very tenacious, a little goes a long way.
