Niaouli essential oil (also known as MQV) is, according to Dr. Kurt Schnaubelt, the most important anti-allergenic essential oil in aromatherapy. Niaouli is a powerful antibacterial and antiseptic; is is valuable for general skin problems, and can be used undiluted without risk. Niaouli can stimulate the defense mechanisms of the body – 5 to 20 drops can be rubbed into the skin over the whole body after a morning shower to promote this effect. It can also be used to cleanse the mouth, throat and teeth.
