Jojoba comes from the beans of the shrub like plant, simmondsia chinensis. This is the highest grade certified organic, cold pressed oil. It is bright and golden in color and is regarded as the most favored because of its advanced molecular stability. Also makes a great scalp cleanser for the hair, and is equally wonderful for the skin because it has absorption properties that are similar to our skins own sebum. We really like this oil, using it for nearly every aromatherapy.

Considered the most gentle of the oils, Hazelnut is suitable for all skin types Hazelnut oil is known for its astringent qualities and because of this, it is best used for those who have oily skin but do want to abstain from using oils.

Hazelnut oil contains useful amounts of essential fatty acids including linoleic acid.It has a faintly nutty aroma, is highly penetrative and is fine textured and is one of the most highly unsaturated vegetable oils. It is heralded as an oil that helps to tone and tighten the skin while strengthening capillaries and assisting in cell regeneration, and in folk medicine has been used to massage children with respiratory problems.

This fine oil comes from the pressed nuts of the Macadamia tree. It is a priceless delight for the skin and has proven itself to be one of the best regenerative oils available. It is high in monounsaturated fatty acids, and closely resembles sebum (the oil naturally produced by ones skin to help protect it). Macadamia oil is fabulous, protective oil with a high absorption rate and has been successfully used as healing oil for scars, sunburns, minor wounds and other irritations.

Avocado Oil is rich in Vitamin A, B1, B2, D, and E as well as amino acids, sterols, pantothenic acid, lecithin, and other essential fatty acids. Avocado Oil is great for those with skin ailments such as eczema, psoriasis, and other skin problems.

Avocado oil is a relatively thick and rich oil and is excellent for people with sensitive or problem skin as well as other irritations that require vitamin rich oil. Even though the Avocado is officially a vegetable oil, it is really a fruit because it has a stone. It can yield as much as 30% oil.

Hemp oil is a fantastic oil. It is likely the most under-utilized, highly-therapeutic oil. It supplies what some consider a perfect fatty acid profile, with all the necessary fatty acids. The fatty acids make it possibly one of the most nourishing oils available. Hemp oil has improved dermatitis symptoms when used as a supplement in scientific studies, and has improved blood fatty acid profiles as well. It has a slightly green nutty flavor, and can be taken internally. This is rich, cold-pressed oil that is sensitive to light and heat, and should be refrigerated. May be supportive in reducing inflammation.

Good for all skin types, and especially nice for dry, or inflamed skin. Can be used 100% or with other oils added. Apricot Kernel oil is a deep gold color, and can be used liberally. Apricot Kernel is noted as particularly suited for mature skin, both dry and normal. It has a light texture and actually has a very pleasant aroma. Very highly-regarded for its skin care and healing properties.

Babassu oil comes from the kernels of the Babassu palm and is non-drying oil. It is high in lauric and myristic acids. These acids have melting points that are close to the human body temperature so, when applied, babassu oil draws the heat from the skin to initiate melting. Therefore, the transfer of the heat creates a cooling sensation on the skin. Babassu oil also forms a protective, soothing coat when applied to the skin as well as a pleasant, smooth feeling.

Babassu oil has similar properties to coconut oil and is used similarly. More and more, babassu oil is increasingly being used as a replacement for coconut oil. Babassu oil is considered to be a superior emollient that is beneficial for either dry or oily complexions.

It gently moisturizes the skin without leaving an oily sheen. Babassu oil contains about 70% lipids. It is cold pressed from the kernel and is produced without chemicals.

This Ultra Rich, unrefined oil is very high in vitamins A, E, D and essential fatty acids. Because of its high vitamin E content, it is a natural antioxidant. It furthermore contains squalane (which is involved in the process of cell growth) which is a natural bactericide and has great healing properties. (Not to be confused with squalene which is the same ingredient, but purified for ingestion).

When Wheat germ oil is applied topically on to the skin it is said to help promote the formation of new cells, improve circulation, and is said to help repair sun damage to the skin. It is also used to help relieve the symptoms of dermatitis and its nourishing properties are most useful in dry sensitive skin. It also has been known to reverse the effects of wrinkling.
